When we developed Great Life Dog Food and Great Life Cat Food all of our ingredients started out with the high end of the nutrient spectrum. We enhanced a superior natural dog food and natural cat food with our exclusive Nutri-Coat" system including: freeze dried raw meat protein and added freeze dried organic raw greens, organic freeze dried fruits, organic vegetables, organic mixed baby sprouts (enzymes) and pre and probiotics. We then saturate the kibble with our Nutri-Coat system in natural salmon oil, keeping all nutrients active. We have provided your pet with all the benefits of a raw food diet without the mess, expense and no refrigeration is needed! Our philosophy has always been to utilize the best available ingredients regardless of cost. Where many companies develop their foods relating to price points, Great Life formulates to reach superior health points.
To help you take your pets back to an age when they were lean, healthy, allergy free and active, we have created Great Life's Grain/Potato-Free Dog Food Diet and our Dr. E’s Limited Ingredient Dog Foods ( in both grain/potato free and regular). As with our other dog food or cat food, we have a unique process that allows us to bring you the active nutrients your pets crave saturated on and around kibble enclosed in wild salmon oil. Lab Analysis: Great Life routinely checks for Micro-toxins, Heavy metals, etc. at a certified facility- Midwest Labs an independent third party. We do tests for: E-coli, Listeria, Salmonella, Staph aureus, Yeast, Mold, etc. Midwest Labs also analysis products for toxins such as: Ethoxyquin, Aflatoxins, DON (Vomitoxin), Fumonisin, Ochratoxin, T-2 Toxin, Zearalenone and more and BHA, BHT. Our products are tested for contaminants from an Independent lab (Midwest Labs) and nutrient activity levels.
Lab reports show Great Life is a very clean product line and free of any of the listed problems.

Food Process: Freeze Dried Raw Food Nutrient Complex saturated in and around Every Kibble. We cook our kibble at a temperature range of 175 to 205 degrees allowing for the destruction of pathogens while not destroying every nutrient. Thru extensive testing, we determined the correct temperature when the pores of the kibble expanded to maximum. At this time, our custom freeze dried nutrient mix featuring Organic and natural proteins, organic fruits, organic vegetables, full spectrum of enzymes and probiotics and organic berries is saturated completely in every open pore and around the entire kibble. This allows for a greater concentration of active nutrients allowing an animals’ system to receive all the nutritional benefits of Great Life kibble. By keeping the moisture content on our freeze dried below 3%, we are free of any problems.
